A talk by Namibian artist Nashilongeweshipwe Mushaandja co-facilitated by artists Libita Sibungu and Mkutaji wa Njia.

In this talk, Mushaandja departs from his ‘unhealthy obsession’ with archives to delineate some of the creative methods he has developed - through a spatial and embodied art practice – to critically approach them. Mushaandja will also foreground the work of fellow artists whose work also explores archival frictions. This talk is hosted by Radar and VANSA, and co-facilitated by Libita Sibungu and Mkutaji wa Nija, who will co-chair a Q&A session after the presentation.

Please note that this event begins at 12.00 UK time, or at 13.00 South African Standard Time, depending on where in the world you are joining us from.
